The University of Otago is New Zealand’s first University and is where the academic study of religion has its deepest roots in New Zealand. Founded in 1869, the University’s beautiful heritage buildings are complemented by first-class modern facilities including the St David’s Lecture Theatre complex where the Congress will meet. All congress venues are located within a small area on the banks of the River Leith, with many pleasant spaces for delegates to meet during the conference.
